My name is Lindsay Heath, RN, BSN, and I have served as the Patient Care Manager for OB/Pediatrics at Sanford Medical Center in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, since March 2022. I have worked in the Critical Access Hospital (CAH) environment since becoming a registered nurse in 2007, gaining experience across a variety of clinical departments throughout my career.

While I have enjoyed working in many areas of nursing, obstetric and newborn care have always been my passion. Since 2015, I have held nursing leadership roles with oversight of obstetric services, focusing on delivering safe, high-quality care for mothers, babies, and their families. I have also served as a Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Instructor since 2015, supporting the education and development of healthcare professionals who care for newborns.

As an AWHONN member, I am committed to staying engaged with evidence-based practices and advancements in maternal and newborn care. I am passionate about advancing excellence in rural healthcare and ensuring that families receive compassionate, high-quality care close to home.
