Safer Births Begin with Better Care

We’re here to improve pregnancy care for families before, during and after birth. Join us in creating healthier families and stronger communities

Who We Are

Hi, we are the Minnesota Perinatal Quality Collaborative (MNPQC)

As a statewide Perinatal Quality Collaborative (PQC), we partner with over 77 organizations—including hospitals, health systems, professional groups, government agencies, and community organizations—to improve birthing care in Minnesota.

What We Do

And How We Do It

At MNPQC, we aim to ensure that all families receive the best care before, during, and after pregnancy. To achieve this, we support hospitals and healthcare facilities in implementing Quality Improvement (QI) Initiatives, Community of Learnings, and Sprints. These efforts foster connections across disciplines and gather meaningful information to inform future care.

Why Does This Matter

A Call to Action for Perinatal Care

Minnesota excels in perinatal outcomes, with low preterm birth, maternal and infant mortality rates, and strong MNPQC participation. Yet, challenges remain, and equitable care is essential to improve outcomes for all Minnesota families.
