Baby & Postpartum Recovery Supplies Drive at the Summit
In August 2026, MNPQC had the honor of recognizing Wilder’s African American Babies Coalition and Projects (AABC) as MNPQC’s 2026 Outstanding Community Organization Award Recipient! This annual recognition is in its second year and is intended to highlight the significant, measurable impact of a Minnesota-based organization that is working towards improving maternal and infant health outcomes in the communities they serve.
During the lunch break at our Summit, from 11:55 am – 1:00 pm, MNPQC will be formally presenting this award to representatives from AABC! Furthermore, as winners of this award, MNPQC wants to ensure that AABC’s programming and work continue to be uplifted.
As part of our Summit on October 27, MNPQC is partnering with AABC to host a Baby & Postpartum Recovery Supplies Drive throughout the duration of the event to help stock AABC’s Family Maternal Resource Room.
Summit attendees are encouraged to bring donations such as:
- Diapers, all sizes
- Diaper cream and wipes
- Baby wash, lotion, and shampoo
- Changing pads
- Receiving blankets
- Onesies, newborn to 12–18 months
- Adult diapers and menstrual pads
- Nipple cream
- Breast pumps, including hand pumps and storage bags
How to Donate: Bring your donations to MNPQC’s Perinatal Improvement Summit on October 27, 2026, at the Minneapolis Marriott West. Donations will be collected from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, before the closing plenary begins.
