About the Award

The MNPQC Outstanding Community Organization Award was established in 2025 to recognize, amplify, and uplift community organizations that are making a meaningful impact on perinatal health in Minnesota. These organizations play a vital role in supporting the well-being of mothers, infants, and families by providing essential services, education, and care. Their tireless efforts help ensure healthier futures for Minnesota communities.

Star Legacy Foundation

Congratulations to the Star Legacy Foundation for being selected as the recipient of MNPQC’s first-ever Outstanding Community Organization Award. We commend Star Legacy’s unwavering dedication to supporting, educating, and advocating for families not only in Minnesota but across the country.

The Star Legacy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to reducing pregnancy loss and neonatal death and improving care for families who experience such tragedies. Star Legacy is a community of families, health professionals, researchers, policy makers, and individuals dedicated to helping every pregnancy have a happy ending.
