Sadie Broekemeier MA, LADC, LPCC, President of the Recovering Hope Treatment Center
Known for her boundless energy, kind spirit and unyielding commitment to serving others, Sadie is responsible for ensuring Recovering Hope maintains a compassionate, healing environment where clients receive the gold standard of substance use disorder treatment and mental health care. She is a seasoned expert in substance use disorder and mental health treatment and has worked with populations representing a diverse range of races, cultures and genders in a variety of regional and national settings including Prairie Care, Rivermend Health and Pride Institute. An active civic leader, Sadie serves the City of Mora, Minnesota, as a member of the City Council and Parks and Recreation Board. She is co-president of the Treatment Collaborative and a member of the board of governors of the Minnesota Association of Resources for Recovery and Chemical Health (MARRCH). In addition, Sadie serves as an adjunct professor for practicum, case management, and assessment in the Drug and Alcohol Counseling Program at Anoka Ramsey Community College. Sadie holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota Duluth, a master’s degree in addiction counseling from Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies. She holds Minnesota licensures as a professional clinical counselor (LPCC), and alcohol and drug counselor (LADC).
