Executive Director

Minnesota Perinatal Quality Collaborative

Susan Thompson, BSN, MS, RN, PHN

Susan has dedicated over 30 years to women’s health as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. Since the inception of the Minnesota Perinatal Quality Collaborative (MNPQC) in 2018, she has been instrumental in its development and success. As a leader in the organization, Susan oversees the planning, development, and implementation of all programs aimed at improving perinatal outcomes across Minnesota.

She believes as a Perinatal Quality Improvement Collaborative (MNPQC), data is essential because it captures our brain’s attention. But to truly see change, we must engage the hearts of all those working in this space. We can only make sustainable improvements by connecting on all levels, not only with data but through stories, empathy, and our shared passion to do the right thing!

She actively collaborates with our partners and engages with communities to drive these improvements. She is thankful to work alongside so many inspiring people that are committed to improving life for Minnesota families.
