Rebekah Dunlap
Rebekah Dunlap is an Indigenous nurse, birth worker, and community advocate from the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. Her work has centered on walking alongside families and strengthening community-based approaches to maternal and child health.
Much of her career has been rooted in nursing and in partnership with her own tribal community, where she has supported families through pregnancy, birth, and early parenting. She is a 2022 Bush Fellow and holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Minnesota.
Rebekah currently serves as the Maternal Child Health Doula Project Coordinator at Aspirus St. Luke’s. In her role as Cultural Strategy Advisor for the Minnesota Perinatal Quality Collaborative, she brings a commitment to honoring Indigenous knowledge, strengthening relationships, and supporting meaningful community partnerships.
