Lisa Bauer is the Vice President/Chief Nurse Executive/Hospital Administrator at Northfield Hospitals + Clinics in Northfield, Minnesota. She has 26 years of nursing experience and brings a breadth of knowledge from her work in different departments in small community hospitals. Every year of her nursing career has had some realm of maternal or newborn care which has created a strong passion for creating environments where outcomes for this patient demographic are not overlooked.  She is particularly interested in sustaining maternal and newborn healthcare services in small community hospitals and creating strategies to retain staff and keep them competent in this specialty. Lisa holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Business Administration from Bethel University and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the College of St Scholastica.
