Kristen Bewley, MA, is the Service Area Director for Avivo’s Intensive Outpatient Program, treating Substance Use and Mental Health disorders for single men and parenting men, women, and women that are pregnant or parenting. Kristen has been employed with Avivo since March 2009, and in her current role since early 2023. Kristen received her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Dakota, and most recently has received a Graduate Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University in Minneapolis, and is a PhD Candidate in Counseling Education and Supervision. Kristen has served on the Governor’s Task Force on Pregnancy Health and Substance Use Disorder as a Representative for MARRCH (2023 to 12/2024) and with the MN Department of Health and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder FASD (12/2024 to 12/2025). Kristen is certified in the MN State University-Mankato Women in Leadership Program and served on the Advisory Panel from 2024-2025).
