Kate is the founder of Twin Cities Midwifery, where she has provided personalized, family-centered midwifery care since 2010. She is passionate about informed choice, physiologic birth, and empowering families as the primary decision-makers in their care. Kate has held numerous leadership roles in Minnesota’s midwifery community and currently contributes to national birth center quality standards through the Commission for the Accreditation of Birth Centers. She also serves at the Clinical Director at Snuggle House Foundation and is a Staff Midwife at Roots Birth Center. She frequently speaks on collaborative transfer, continuity of care, and strengthening maternal health systems.
