Jane Taylor, MBA, MHA, Ed. D.

Jane Taylor is an Improvement Advisor and Adult Educator. She supports learning collaboratives and innovation projects by providing expertise in improvement approaches and measurement; she focuses on maternal and child
outcomes. Jane has advised the MNPQC since its inception and previously the Minnesota Perinatal Organization for the past 10 years.

Dr. Taylor has advised over 150 learning collaboratives world-wide and serves as faculty at The Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s Improvement Advisor Professional Development Program and Hospital-wide System Flow Professional
Development Program.

Jane had a career in hospital operations and as a hospital CEO, and over 20 years as a quality improvement professional. She is published in the American Journal of Nursing, Pediatrics, Frontiers of Health Services Management, and The
Journal for Healthcare Quality. In her spare time, she plays the violin, sails on Lake Pepin in the summer, and competes as an amateur ballroom dancer. She is a wife, colleague, and friend to many around the world.
