Christie has been a child welfare social worker for the last 26 years, the most recent 11 years as a supervisor. She enjoys supervising in both child protection and child welfare services. Christie is a lifelong learner, stays calm in crisis situations, and has a passion for working with children and families. She values meeting people where they are at in their lives and with social workers where they are at with their practice. Christie believes it is important to mentor and train social work interns and new staff. Personally, she enjoys spending time with her family, camping, traveling, music, and reading.
