Ann Forster Page, DNP, CNM, APRN, FACNM, has been practicing full-time, full scope midwifery since 2001. She is the Nurse-Midwife Director in the Division of Ob/Gyn and Midwifery at the University of Minnesota Medical School and sees patients at MHealth Fairview Women’s clinic, Minneapolis, and UMMC. Dr. Forster Page serves as a steering committee member of MHealth Fairview’s perinatal quality and safety committee and co-leads the UMMC OB case review committee. She has served as a board member for both the MN Affiliate of American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) and national ACNM. She taught for 10 years as an adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor with the UMN School of Nursing, Midwifery Doctoral program. She is involved with interprofessional education (IPE) with midwifery students and medical residents, and teaches a wide range of learners in the clinic and hospital settings (APPs, residents, and medical students). Dr. Forster Page is driven by a goal of increasing access to high quality, equitable midwifery-led care as part of the solution to our current maternity care crisis.
