Postpartum

Amma Parenting Center

Amma Parenting Center’s mission is to make a difference in the world by providing new families with education, support and community. After baby arrives, the real need for education and support begins. Their mom and baby classes are a unique hybrid of education and support. Taught by nurses and lactation consultants, the New Mama Class is a place for moms to get feeding and baby care help, learn about postpartum adjustment, and meet other new moms.

Better Beginnings

Better Beginnings was born to fill the gap between birth and the postpartum medical appointment. Better Beginnings teams of loving doulas in the Twin Cities, Duluth, and Rochester communities guide families through postpartum care, lactation support, and more. They serve as a fourth-trimester compass.

Fourth Trimester Doc

Fourth Trimester Doc was established to address a crucial need in postpartum health by offering integrative, specialized care for parents and their infants in the comfort of their own homes. Their dedicated team of experienced physicians supports parents at every stage, providing lactation expertise, physical health assessments, and mental health resources to help families flourish during this precious time.

Pregnancy & Postpartum Support Minnesota

Pregnancy and Postpartum Support Minnesota (PPSM) provides support, advocacy, and awareness. PPSM is a volunteer-led organization paving the way for perinatal mental health and setting the standard for competent perinatal care in Minnesota.

Twin Cities Midwifery – Postpartum Support Group

This is a space for pregnant and postpartum people and their babies to gather weekly to connect and receive guidance and support. This group led by one of Twin Cities Midwifery’s midwives is free, open to the public, and we welcome families from all birth settings and care teams.
