New and expecting parents are invited to celebrate with the Sabathani Community Center! Enjoy:

  • Maternal health and parenting resources 
  • Opportunities to connect with other families 

The Community Baby Shower is for people who are pregnant or have a child under age 1, along with family members, friends, and support people. Minnesota residents are preferred. The Maternal Health Resource Fair is meant to connect families with maternal health organizations and community partners offering pregnancy and parenting resources, education, and support, including doulas, lactation specialists, midwives, and more. This year’s event will highlight self-care and safe sleep for moms and babies, with resources, activities, food, prizes, and more.

These events are brought to the community by Maternal Health Matters, Way to Grow, and community partners committed to maternal and infant well-being.

Time:

  • The Resource Fair will be held from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm CDT on the 2nd Floor
  • The Community Baby Shower will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 pm CDT in the Banquet Room
