The Department of Children, Youth, and Family services (DCYF) in partnership with the Minnesota Humanities Center (MHC) will host the second of three Story Circle series. This special project is designed to build a leadership task force comprised of fathers who will gain a deeper understanding of accessible systems and resources, but to also develop a stronger sense of their own empowerment.

Session 2 will focus on “Fatherhood in Community” – Learning in circle at the feet of a community elder whose lived experience serves as a guide of inspiration to the participants.

This event has space for 30 fathers to convene in person. This public event is intended for diverse participants from any location in Minnesota. The first 30 fathers that sign up will be compensated a $100 visa card.
