The Fairview Center for Community Health Equity, in partnership with Fairview’s Women and Children’s Service Line and the City of Minneapolis Health Department, will host the Birth Justice Summit on Thursday, Aug. 20, from noon-5 p.m. at Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital Wilf Auditorium in Minneapolis. This summit will bring together physicians, nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, nurses, lactation specialists, doulas, birth workers, and community partners to explore equity-centered approaches to lactation support and perinatal care.
