Ms. Lewis serves as a Program Associate with the National Center on Substance Abuse and Child Welfare (NCSACW). In this role, she project manages and assists in the development of resource materials and provides short-term technical assistance (TA). She also supports in-depth technical assistance at the state and county levels, helping build collaborative capacity to improve outcomes for infants, parents, and other family members or caregivers affected by substance use disorders (SUDs) and prenatal substance exposure.
Prior to joining CCFF, Ms. Lewis served as a social work intern where she collaborated with staff to develop TA resources involving cross-systems collaboration and partnerships for child welfare and substance abuse treatment and recovery agencies.
Ms. Lewis has also developed trauma-informed treatment plans and provided individual therapy and clinical case management to youth, adolescents, and adults with co-occurring disorders/mental health disorders.
Ms. Lewis holds an MA in Social Work from the University of Southern California with an emphasis in Community, Organization, Planning, and Administration. She has a BA in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
