The Minnesota Perinatal Quality Collaborative (MNPQC) recently concluded a three-month Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) Community of Learning. This initiative aimed to address critical gaps in timely diagnosis and intervention for infants with hearing loss. Participating hospitals implemented evidence-based strategies that led to significant improvements, including a 15% increase in rescreening rates within 15 days. This collaborative effort not only enhanced care for newborns and their families but also provided a sustainable framework for continued quality improvement across Minnesota’s healthcare facilities.
