Malik Mays, M.D. Mayo Clinic Rochester

Dr. Mays is currently in the process of completing his OBGYN residency at the Mayo Clinic (Rochester). He received his medical degree from The University of Toledo College of Medicine & Life Sciences. He chose to pursue OB/GYN to provide patient-centered care to female-identifying patients at the most critical and vulnerable times of their lives, especially those with a cultural background that is historically underrepresented in medicine. His clinical and research interests include strategies to address systemic bias and racism in healthcare policies,  analysis of healthcare-related patient trauma experiences, and increasing cultural diversity in all healthcare professions.
