Leslie Carranza MD, MHS is Senior Associate Consultant at the Mayo Clinic. She is the Chair of the Quality for the OBGYN Department. Her research interest include communication with patients and families after medical errors and adverse events. She is also actively working on improving indicators for monitoring quality of care during pregnancy and childbirth, patient reported outcomes and measures of patient reported satisfaction with childbirth services. Dr. Carranza received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities, completed her OBGYN residency at the University of Washington in Seattle, and completed a Master’s Health Policy at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.
