Honoring Survivors and Advocates During DVAM and Beyond

In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month (October), we’re pleased to announce a special panel discussion with survivors, advocates, and organizers. Speakers will share their pathways for drawing from personal hardship and history to bring authenticity and hope to their advocacy. The conversation will include real talk about healing-centered advocacy with survivors navigating systemic barriers related to mental health, substance use, housing, and legal concerns, as well as the power of peer support.

More in this newsletter:

  • Our quarterly ACRTI Café returns next month. Read on for details and register now to save your spot.
  • We’re hiring! If you’re committed to advancing state-level policy and systems improvement to better serve survivors and their families, our Policy Manager may be the perfect role for you. Our team is fully remote, so please share this opportunity widely.
