Solaire Spellen is the Head of Quality Improvement & Systems Change for the Irth App at Narrative Nation, Inc. and Co-Founder of the California Coalition for Black Birth Justice. Solaire leads Irth’s Birth Without Bias partner improvement program, transforming Irth app reviews into data to hold hospitals and providers accountable and improve care experiences for Black and brown women and birthing people. With over a decade of professional experience in birth justice research and developing strategies grounded in health equity, antiracism, and community partnership practices, Solaire works to equip organizations and leaders with the tools needed to address racism as a root cause of health disparities through sustainable, community-informed solutions.
