Lisa Konicek, RN, PHN; Public Health Nurse Sr. / Program Coordinator; St Louis County Public Health
Lisa began her career with a degree in Public Health, then returned years later to earn a Bachelors in Nursing. She has worked as a coordinator for community programming at a Community Health Center in Toronto, Canada; as a health specialist for a county-wide Head Start program in Utah; and, for the last 10 years, as a Public Health Nurse home visitor then a Program Coordinator for St Louis County Public Health. She is passionate about health equity, access to care and improving maternal and infant perinatal outcomes. The public health team recently won a Model Practice Award and a Best of the Best Model Award from the National Organization for City and State Health Officials for Heart-to-Heart program, which aims to improve outcomes for those with Hypertension Disorders in Pregnancy.
