DESCRIPTION:Objective\nThe Upper Midwest Rural Interdisciplinary Substance Use Disorder / Opioid Use Disorder ECHO (UMRISE) Project purpose is to improve interdisciplinary teaming and capacity to treat individuals with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) and other Substance Use Disorders (SUD). The goal is to increase health care workforce capacity (knowledge\, self-efficacy) and intent to offer OUD and other SUD treatment through UMRISE. \n\nTopics Covered\n\n\nAddiction Fundamentals\nMental Health\nHarm Reduction\nConsiderations for special patient populations: Indigenous\, pregnant women\, geriatric\, unhoused\, justice-involved\, etc.\n\nAccreditation Information\nIn support of improving patient care\, Essentia Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME)\, the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)\, and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)\, to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. \nEssentia Health designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 ANCC contact hours. \nEssentia Health is an approved Minnesota Board of Social Work Continuing Education Provider.
