DESCRIPTION:New and expecting parents are invited to celebrate with the Sabathani Community Center! Enjoy:  \n\nCatered food\, refreshments\, and desserts \nFun games and activities \nRaffle prizes \nBaby items and gift bags \nMaternal health and parenting resources \nOpportunities to connect with other families \n\nThe Community Baby Shower is for people who are pregnant or have a child under age 1\, along with family members\, friends\, and support people. Minnesota residents are preferred. The Maternal Health Resource Fair is meant to connect families with maternal health organizations and community partners offering pregnancy and parenting resources\, education\, and support\, including doulas\, lactation specialists\, midwives\, and more. This year’s event will highlight self-care and safe sleep for moms and babies\, with resources\, activities\, food\, prizes\, and more. \nThese events are brought to the community by Maternal Health Matters\, Way to Grow\, and community partners committed to maternal and infant well-being. \nDate: October 17\, 2026 \nLocation: Sabathani Community Center\, 310 East 38th Street\, Minneapolis\, MN 55409 \nTime: \n\nThe Resource Fair will be held from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm CDT on the 2nd Floor\nThe Community Baby Shower will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 pm CDT in the Banquet Room\n\nResource Fair Cost: Free and open to the public!
