SUMMARY:CUES 101: Applying a Universal Screening Approach to Violence Prevention in Health Settings
DESCRIPTION:This learning opportunity from the Minnesota Department of Health is part of a four-session webinar series focused on Confidentiality\, Universal Education + Empowerment\, Support (CUES) Intervention. CUES is an evidence-based intervention for addressing intimate partner violence in health settings. Patients receive information about available resources without requiring them to disclose. This universal education approach gives victim/survivors the freedom to decide if\, when\, and how they choose to share their stories with others. \nASL interpretation and captioning will be provided for all webinars. \nAll webinars will be recorded and made available to view on the MDH website. \nSession #2 Presenters:  Dylan Daniels (Indian Health Board of Minneapolis\, Inc.) and Julia Tindell (Minnesota Department of Health) \nDescription: Survivors of intimate partner violence say they want health providers to listen without judgment\, offer information and support\, and not push for disclosures. This webinar will equip health professionals to provide trauma-informed education and support to victims and survivors using the evidence-based CUES (Confidentiality\, Universal Education + Empowerment\, & Support) Intervention. \nDate & Time: September 10\, 2026 from 12:00 1:00 pm \nLocation: Virtual

SUMMARY:Leveraging System Strengths to Solve Capacity Gaps in Limited-Resource Environments Session 3
DESCRIPTION:This four-part Community of Learning (CoL) series\, Leveraging System Strengths to Solve Capacity Gaps in Limited-Resource Environments\, examines how leadership\, networks\, flexibility\, and collaboration can equip AIM participating facilities operating in limited-resource environments to implement AIM patient safety bundles (PSB). The CoL will focus on how system strengths can be leveraged to address many of the current challenges\, including competing priorities and limited capacity\, the solo champion reality\, and how small denominators make traditional data analysis a challenge. \nTogether\, they will explore strategies for staff support\, customized bundle rollout\, and data utilization for QI in low-volume settings. Each session features insights from AIM entities and participating hospitals\, offering real-world strategies to strengthen systems for sustainable change: \n\nSession 1: From Solo Champion to System Catalyst: Leading Change in Limited-Resource Perinatal Care Setting | Thursday\, May 21\, 2026\, at 2:00 PM CT\nSession 2: Meeting Facilities Where They Are: Considerations for Customizing PSB Implementation | Thursday\, July 23\, 2026\, at 2:00 PM CT\nSession 3: The Power of Connection: Scaling Maternal Care Through Partnerships | Thursday\, September 10\, 2026\, at 2:00 PM CT\nSession 4: Strategies for data utilization in low-volume settings | Thursday\, October 15\, 2026\, at 2:00 PM CT
