SUMMARY:Postpartum Mental Health: A Community Discussion and an Interprofessional Dialogue
DESCRIPTION:In this two-night series\, you can help create community-based\, interprofessional solutions.  \n\n\nOn Night 1\, September 9\, the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) will host a presentation on the Minnesota Maternal Mortality Report with representatives from the Minnesota Department of Health\, a lived experience panel\, and moderated table discussions\, followed by Q&A.  \n\n\nOn Night 2\, September 10\, participants will hear about innovations in postpartum mental health from multidisciplinary professionals. This will be followed by an interactive\, generative\, moderated session focusing on visioning solutions that work.  \n\n\nUMD has engaged with a wide variety of community professionals for this series. SUMMARY:The Weave West Virginia Model: Strengthening Statewide Responses to Substance Use and Mental Health Coercion in Intimate Partner Violence
DESCRIPTION:Substance use and mental health coercion are common yet often overlooked tactics of intimate partner violence that can undermine survivors’ safety\, health\, and access to care. Addressing these intersecting issues requires coordinated\, cross-system responses that bring together domestic violence\, behavioral health\, healthcare\, and community partners. \nWeave West Virginia is an innovative statewide initiative designed to strengthen collaboration across systems\, expand access to survivor-centered services\, and improve health\, well-being\, and safety for survivors and their families \nIn this session\, participants will learn about the Weave West Virginia model\, including its statewide partnerships\, implementation strategies\, successes\, and lessons learned.
