SUMMARY:Minnesota Alliance For Patient Safety (MAPS) Lunch & Learn
DESCRIPTION:During a recent MAPS Caring Safety Tour\, participants visited Northland Medical Center to see how high-reliability practices are embedded into everyday care from imaging and tiered saftey huddles to interdisciplinary bedside rounding and surgical team coordination. \nThis interactive Lunch & Learn will invite participants to: \n\nIdentify key high-reliability practices observed at Northland Medical Center\, including huddles\, rounding\, and frontline-driven solutions.\nDescribe how consistent\, everyday behaviors — such as closing the loop\, simplifying reporting\, and interdisciplinary collaboration — contribute to a strong safety culture.\nApply insights from Tour Fellow reflections to identify one or two practices that could be adapted within your own setting.

SUMMARY:Perinatal Substance Use ECHO: Alcohol Use Disorder in Pregnancy
DESCRIPTION:The Perinatal Substance Use ECHO program provides education and training to providers to best support pregnant and parenting people with substance use during their pregnancy\, birth and postpartum. This includes educational sessions\, case reviews and discussions of best practice templates and protocols specifically focused on inpatient and outpatient perinatal substance use and substance use disorders. It is our goal to develop standardized treatment approaches for perinatal substance use care that will allow for statewide standardization of best practice for all birthing patients affected by substance use and substance use disorders.
